Last year, on December 22nd Sid Tan Board member of W2 and creator of the Fearless City Television program, spoke on CBC with Stephen Quinn about the problematics currently being faced by Community Television. In the past years, it seems Shaw monopolize the funding and access for the community to produce community TV. This access, seems to be rather limited and poorly resourced, not really making up for the huge funding which they receive from the government to keep community Television running. If we are loosing our money to Shaw, we need to claim it this year as the CRTC are is doing its review on Shaw's community tv access program (see my previous blogpost). Check the Radio Interview out!
