Hot One Inch Action coming to W2

Next Saturday is one of my favourite night's on Vancouver's arts calendar. It's Hot One Inch Action and a night where artists come together, people mingle and crash thru the alienation of urban life. Talk to strangers, make friends, share a passion for arts and personal expression. I just read the list of this year's 50 selected artists from Curators Chris & Jim and I want to invite you to check it out and plan to attend our new Perel Gallery at 112 W Hastings on Saturday November 7 @ 8pm.

Comment by Irwin Oostindie on November 2, 2009 at 1:57pm: I hadnt heard they sell em. Where do you mean they sell em? they dont make money on teh hsow, and its free to the public. i agree artists dont get paid, but i dont see anyone making money off this show/

Comment by Cliff Blank on November 2, 2009 at 12:45pm: Yep. I was in the 2006 show. But if you read the fine print, they get to sell the artwork over and over again with NO compensation to the artists (aside from a bag of buttons). Pretty sweet deal for the organizers.

So... that put an end to my submissions.
