Spring’s silhouette stems
in barking greys,
While colours split
with an orange alert,
Bubble gum petals pop
out of peridot seams,
Shocking pink explosions
onto a comic book sky.

Speak not to me of leaving
It is in your presence
That I dwell,
For I have discovered heaven
In the essence of your being
And am transported by your spell.
Speak not to me of leaving
But mark our time
With each sweet, breath drawn,
Matched only, by our true hearts beating
Yet still, leave time
To gentle love along.
Speak not to me of leaving
Embrace me in this moment
Join me at the tempest’s calm,
Trace…

A head injury from an encounter with gangsters forces a journalist to relive the past By Jake Adelstein
Everyone knows there is a dark side to journalism. If they don’t, they just haven’t worked the job long enough.
