Christine Elsey performed her choreography and creative writing as a site specific dance work beside the Raging Seymour River for Culture Days 2013 (with fabric artists and performer Elise Roberts). Compliments of the North Shore Arts Council. See link for pictures and credits.

I was commissioned (by the North Shore Arts Council) to present a multi-media performance art site work (outdoors) on September 29 in North Vancouver at the Seymour River Heritage Park. This site work involved dancing the spirit of the Seymour River, and reading my Poem "Seymour River Recollections" about my experiences on the Seymour River (published in Harbour Publishing's "Echoes Across Seymour"). Fabric art and drumming by Elise Roberts plus a mask made by Vancouver artist and mask maker…Continue

Spring’s silhouette stems
in barking greys,
While colours split
with an orange alert,
Bubble gum petals pop
out of peridot seams,
Shocking pink explosions
onto a comic book sky.
