Co-Director of Artistrun Media Society
Artistrun as a website was co-founded by Dr. Lycia Trouton, an international public artist and Liza Lee, a writer and artist in 2000 to join up local businesses and artists for exhibitions and cross-promotions in Vancouver. They met at the SEARCH Program at the Alliance for Arts, Vancouver. The SEARCH Program has connected nearly 2000 arts and cultural participants. Currently, Artistrun is an online advertising co-operative and in the 10th year of making an online arts community visible and successful.
The Artistrun website is the distribution vehicle of the ArtConverge magazine launched in 2008. We are proposing a special ArtConverge Issue 5: News commentaries on the 2010 Cultural Olympiad events in Vancouver for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games from February 1 to March 21, 2010. Coverage will include arts and cultural activities along the vibrant arts hub of Main Street.
