W2 moves to Storyeum this Spring and will be hosting exciting progrmaming throughout the whole summer!

For the next 5 months we will launch an exciting series of festivals, conferences, and daily programs and we hope you will stay involved. Storyeum’s 31,000 square feet of space will be home to a massive one-night exhibition in June featuring 200 artists, a series of festivals, a major urban art fair, Icograda Design Week Vancouver reception, Future Everything networked event—connecting Istanbul, Tokyo, Sao Paolo, Newcastle, and W2—and the launch reception for Vancouver Interactive Digital Week. And lots more to share with you!

As a community-based project, we rely almost entirely on volunteer staff contributions to build this legacy project for the DTES at Woodward's - and we invite contributions of creativity and labour to make our programming happen.

We are currently looking for: gallery sitters, media lab attendants, event volunteers, cafe volunteers and are recruiting for a number of Committees.

Committees that will work this summer include: Summer Youth Camp Planning Committee, Media Lab Committee, Technical Committee, Urban Art Fair Committee.
