Local Information & Communication Technology (ICT) companies are invited to this ICT Cluster Launch, in association with W2's Creative Technology Incubator program. Complimentary hors d'ouevres and drinks served.

The Downtown Eastside, and Gastown in particular, has welcomed ICT entrepreneurs and companies, and is a hot spot for barcamps and web 2.0 business culture. Enjoy an afterwork beverage while learning from your peers working in technology, web, social media, mobile, telecommunications, and more. Share your ideas about opportunities for this exciting ICT precinct, and build on connections.

Join us for opening remarks by Shirley Chan, CEO, Building Opportunities with Business speaking about local economic development and their work of supporting industry clusters. Hear from Irwin Oostindie, ED, W2, about opportunities for ICT businesses for wage subsidies and training for hiring local residents.
